About 8 years ago Ben and I became a "thing". You know, we dated... then didn't date... then dated again... And sometime in between then and my junior year in college, I thought "I could marry this guy". So, in May of 2006 Ben proposed and I said yes with fervor.
The next year I did my darnedest to finish my senior year of college, plan a wedding, graduate college and then finally tie the knot. In this year I studied hard but also dropped the ball a few times on things, I'm sure. I planned certain things for the wedding to a 't' and I freaked out and dropped the ball on some things with the wedding too. Like when I made the programs for our wedding and dated them all to say 2005 (two years earlier than the actual year)... oops. Needless to say, I created a pretty crazy year for myself. But, the diploma came as did wedding day and it was all perfect.
Then that crazy part was over and it was time to move on to a new and different crazy part of life. Life came (and camp came) at us fast. Almost three years later, 8 CD's worth of pictures sat staring me in the face with no printed, photographic evidence that the wedding actually happened. I had to make my own wedding album people, and apparently this wasn't a task I was ready to face head on. I have thought about scrapbooking and I have done a few various mock-ups on photo websites-- but I could never commit.
Last week I got an email coupon from shutterfly.com (it was a sign!) and my aunt was visiting (bonus!) so, I basically forced her to sit with me for a few hours and throw something together. It was time.
I made a wedding album, thank you very much. And it came today! On our anniversary. Perfect.

It's not the fanciest thing you have ever seen and I am sure I left out something very important... but regardless, I can look at 22 12x12 pages of June 2, 2007 whenever I want to. Now, I realize this book will probably collect dust in a short time here... but at least I have a wedding album for crying out loud!
Here's to three fabulous years- and the pictures to prove it's legit.
*In other news- day 1 of staff training. Excellent.

:) Love it. I have this not-so-secret desire to be ridiculously good at scrapbooking. It's quite the expensive hobby though! Hooray for camp!
This made my "allergies" act up. Gosh.

Your wedding album is gay b/c it doesn't feature a page with only my face on it.
