earth day

I love Earth Day, I really do. So, happy Earth Day everyone! I could blog about why recycling is great, or how to kill weeds in your garden with earth-friendly materials you have at home, or maybe give a brief history of the first man who thought setting aside a day to celebrate the earth was important. Or, I could tell you why, even though "this world is not our home... and it will pass away" I think it's a good thing to take care of it. But that all seems relatively boring.

Instead- to celebrate Earth Day and the wonderful work that our Maker created, I thought I would share with you some of the most beautiful places I have been able to see and experience on this great blue and green sphere.

Jekyll Island, Georgia
St. George, Bermuda
The Chesapeake Bay, Maryland
The Grand Canyon
Garden of the gods, Colorado
La Jolla, California
The Rhode River
Bosnia
Somewhere near Kassel, Germany
Natural hot springs, Costa Rica
The Caribbean Sea, Mexico
Brighton, Utah

I love what Kristi said... Ditto from me. God did do a great job designing His earth. One of my favorite places that I shared with you, was being on top of the world on a snow capped mountain in Colorodo, then skiing to the bottom. Glorious. :)

Did you take all those pictures??????
I went with Sammy's Pre-K class on a field trip to the Maryland Zoo and I was amazed at God's creativity in animals. He is just the MASTER artist in all he created.
Why aren't there any pictures from your missions trip to Vanuatu?
