Maybe that's really where it started, I don't know. Regardless, I now find the car the easiest place to nap. My favorite is when the sun shines in on my side and I'm nice and warm. Long car rides are great because I take the "short cut" and sleep through state after state. A few years ago Ben, my aunt and I drove to Georgia and I didn't see Virginia through South Carolina. It doesn't have to be a long car ride, however. Sometimes the 30 minute drive home from church serves as a perfect nap time.
Now, I know what you are thinking- if it is so easy for me to fall asleep in cars, isn't this a concern when I am the driver!? The answer is, yes. Yes very much so. I have never actually fallen asleep at the wheel, of course, but I absolutely detest driving for more than an hour at night because of my love of car-napping. It's a concern. So, if I call you late at night whilst driving so that I don't ram my car into a tree... don't say I didn't warn you!
As for riding shotgun on a sunny afternoon, destination anywhere, I love a good car nap. It's also really quite productive- I get a nap in while en route to go somewhere to do something... two birds with one stone, really.
Where is your favorite place to nap? Oh, a couch? Yea, that's normal. But I'm not a good couch napper and I couldn't even think of napping in my bed in the middle of the day (because a bed is the weirdest place to sleep)... but really, it's just all made up and not to be used until, you know, nighttime. Maybe I should start sitting in my car for afternoon naps- I mean, without going anywhere, just take a pillow and sit out in the driveway. Not a bad idea...

you make your bed?!?
really?
Ok I do some times but only on the advice of Loris. I make it when I am tempted to get back in it.
you look hot in that pic.
Word- Traters... wanted to type taters as in tots
this is me! If I am in the car for more than 20 minutes, Bryan could probably bet money that I would fall asleep :)
which means, the road trip across country was pretty fun for him! we have a lot in common :)
I know I'm a little behind in my reading. sorry. Jon will not nap in bed either. If he for some reason has to, he'll take a blanket and sleep on top of the bedding. Ha! Also, you'll have to ask Annabeth or Jon about me napping on a trip to GA with them! i love car naps too!!!! I've had to change a little since I've been married. My hubby likes company when driving..... I miss you.
