My sweet husband finally got his nose fixed. It's been about 8 years since he has taken a deep breath through his nose, thanks to a terribly crushed septum caused by a basketball to the face. Well, today he finally got surgery to straighten things out in there- and now he's going through an uncomfortable and slightly painful recovery. Since he can't really lay down at all (and has the sensation of someone stabbing him in the nose with a sharpened pencil) I have been keeping him company because he can't sleep. But all in all, he is doing quite well. Off to play nurse- and watch a couple episodes from Lost...

My brother and Dad both had that surgery. I literally thought they were going to die they were in so much discomfort...so Ben's doing good.
Dave had surgery today! His ankle is fixed and he is on drugs...glad to hear Ben can breathe again. Hey, thanks for the Birthday wishes...it means a lot. Good nursing wishes!
Glad to hear Ben is doing well! He should be...he has the best nurse a wife can be!!
I am so glad the the nose job went well. Does it look the same? It was very cute.
I have heard that you and Ben are coming for Easter!!! We are so happy.. we can all dye eggs and make a bunny cake!!!
